Going Merrily

Went to Strangers Reunion some time last year with Kelvin to understand what all the brunch craze is about. Read online that Strangers Reunion is famous for its Buttermilk Waffles. 

The name butter+milk+waffles combines 3 of my favorite things so we got the Buttermilk Waffles with Strawberry Maceration & Ice Cream $13.9. Maybe my expectation was too high after reading the raving reviews about the waffles online. Quote from Kelvin "The waffles like waffles lor" sums it up. Stingy portion of strawberries and normal tasting waffles - 6/10

We also got the Truffle Fries with freshly grated truffle, Tuffled Aioli & Parmesan $12.90. Its pretty good for the price, the truffle taste is very strong. A tab bit salty though, 8/10

The Nutella Tart/Cake $9 was too sweet and a torture to finish actually. I rather just scope nutella out of the jar than spending $9 on the cake - 5/10

Also, you can see that the place is very small and crowded, not very ideal for a relaxing meal as people keep walking pass you :/ Visit if you really want to.
