Krabi Grad Trip - Travel Review Itinerary

For our grad trip, Kelvin and I went to Krabi in May on a Groupon for Peace Laguna Resort Stay (Click for Link to deal). There isn't a lot of activities to do in Krabi so we mainly spent our time chilling at the beaches and eating at Jenna's.
The deal is $234 for two pax 3D2N Peace Laguna Resort Superior Room Stay (Worth $629) with 4-Island Tour Options Available - I'm pretty confident that the deal will keep come up every year around April-May so watch out for it!
Peace Laguna Resort & Spa is a beautiful place to stay set against the mountains and the beach. it's just 5 mins walk from the famous Ao Nang Beach in Krabi.
The superior rooms are not those detached little bungalows you see in the pictures (you can top up S$20 per night to upgrade to those rooms), but my opinion is that the superior rooms are just fine.
The superior room is super spacious with good natural lighting and nice bathtub but the view from the window is blocked by other buildings.
For our activities, we opted for the 4 island hopping tour (SGD$50). The sun was relentless and we had to slap on loads of sun block in order to sit on the top of the tour boats.
We visited really beautiful beaches but all of them were also very crowded! I guess goods things must share XD.
We were blessed with really good weather! (may be a tad too hot though) As we visited in May/June, it's actually the monsoon/low period in Krabi. Krabi's weather in May is supposedly rainy throughout, hence the resort promotion price. However we were lucky enough to have our island hopping on such a sunny day.
The waters are crystal clear.

We also got to see this - the fertility shrine in the princess cave. Tons and tons of penises around.
The tour also included snorkeling but there weren't much to see except for some black fishes.
We were also provided with food (caifan style) to have little picnic lunches on the beach.
The ocean is as blue as it can be.
And in different shades of blue.
Also, the resort also provides a complimentary daily breakfast buffet spread to start off your day on the right note :)
As part of the groupon, we were also provided with a 6 course thai dinner set which was really delicious and of very generous portion for two people.
Overall we really really enjoyed the trip. The Groupon for all these only cost us $284! For 3D2N, how cheap is that! Do watch out for it :)
